Woody Lee, an Innovator in NLP and LLM Research

I am Woojin Lee, a dedicated researcher in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP), with a keen interest in Large Language Models (LLMs). Currently pursuing my master’s degree at Konkuk University’s NLP Lab, my journey in NLP has been both enriching and transformative.

Academic Endeavors:

I have engaged deeply in academic research, with my most recent work, “LOGIC: LLM-Originated Guidance for Internal Cognitive Improvement in Stance Detection,” submitted for review at NAACL 2024. This paper represents my commitment to enhancing cognitive processes within NLP frameworks.

Industry Collaboration:

I have successfully bridged the gap between academia and industry through my collaboration with NAVER. Here, I led a project aimed at developing a model for measuring the depth and diversity of news articles, thereby refining news search algorithms. This venture culminated in detailed reports and presentations, reflecting my contribution to advancing media analytics.

Awards and Recognition:

My research has been recognized on several occasions, including receiving the Outstanding Award in the Artificial Intelligence category at the 2021 KISTI Research Data-AI Analysis Utilization Competition. My project on hierarchical multi-label embedding for the rhetorical classification of academic sentences underlines my innovative approach to text analysis.

Entrepreneurial Ventures:

Showcasing my versatility, I also received the Excellence Award at the 2022 KU National College Students’ Startup Idea Competition, affirming my ability to transform academic research into practical business ideas.
